Fantastic album. Very reminiscent of 90s slowcore with an even more beautiful and dark edge. It's hard to find music like this nowadays but I'm very pleased to have found it. Jesse Mullen
OotG is so raw, angsty, powerful, and a little sexy because of that. It's a perfect album for when you need to get up and scream AND when you need to sit in the dark to brood. If I want to impress a music lover, this is the album I show them. The track listing flows so well, and it's very repeatable. Jess, you killed it with this. perhapsitsnate
A slow drip of Tropicália-infused psychedelia from New Orleans rock outfit Blue Basin: balmy one moment, aggressive the next. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 22, 2022
There's something about this album that speaks to me on a subconscious level. I'm 23 as I write this, and Jess was also around 22 when she released this. It's a bit of a confusing, lonely time, and you do a lot of growing up in such a short interval. Many of the songs on this album relate to this.
Also, so many songs and albums have a summer or fall feeling to it, but this album is a great winter/spring, specifically February through April. perhapsitsnate
